The project website rekniavyfot.osu.cz [Tell and take a picture] is a tool for data collection within the SGS project SGS10/FSS/2023 “Living situation of refugee families from Ukraine”. The research project deals with the Living Situation of Refugee Families from Ukraine with regard to its specificities. The aim of the presented project is to map and analyse the living situation of refugee families from Ukraine located in the territory of the city of Ostrava. The topic is viewed from the perspective of community-oriented participatory research using the innovative PhotoVoice method, which allows actors to express their personal “lived” experience through photographs and comments. The significance of the presented research is seen in the concretization and genesis of the mapping of the living situation of refugee families. And also in the possibility to link the application with non-profit organizations providing social services to the target group. Last but not least, the research will contribute to raising awareness of the issue of the living situations of families at risk in the majority society, through the organization of an opening.
